UVempleo, included in General Foundation of Universitat de València, tries to connect directly job seekers with companies, agencies and institutions.

The routes of labour insertion will be individualized, adjusted to the different professional profiles of job seekers. The participants will also received orientation about how can they improve the curriculum vitae, they will prepare job interviews and they will learn to overcome a selection process. On the other hand, they will have information about the job opportunities or internship in companies, companionship in the active search of job offers and support during the insertion in the job.

All the actions of the programme will be supported by the service of counselling and personalized companionship of UVempleo (job’s orientation appointment at 96 162 59 01 and uvempleo@uv.es), whereas the Spanish Foundation of Stutter will support the students and professionals in rights and specific necessities field (93 237 91 93 y secretaria@fundacionttm.org).

Rate of labour insertion circa 40%

The Office of the Vice-principal for Employment and Training Services of Universitat de València, directed by Adela Valero, is the responsible of the programmes trough UVempleo, service for the labour insertion of students and people who have received a degree. From 2017, UVempleo, through specialized programmes of labour insertion of students and people who have received a degree with disability, has met circa 300 people, with 37,9% rate of labour insertion.

This project is included within the framework of programmes done by the body of Universitat de València, channelled by other services, as UVdiscapacidad, for example, which pays attention to circa 1.200 people among students, Professors and administrative people. Currently, the UV maintains the leadership in this field, being the Spanish on-site university with more enrolled students with disabilities (circa 1.100 enrolments).
