The Valencian cultural heritage is made up of movable and immovable property, as well as intangible assets of the ethnological heritage, the creations, practices and knowledge of the traditional Valencian culture. Musical, artistic, gastronomic or leisure events are also considered Cultural Heritage, and especially those that have used oral transmission and that promote the use of their own language.

The conference that the Alumni Enrique Collado will offer is part of this Intangible Heritage and will focus on those little-known festivals that are part of the Valencian collective imagination and that, due to their tradition and social and economic impact, have a relevant cultural value. Some of these festivals are: the Maderada de Cofrentes, the Todolella Warrior Dance, the Moors and Christians of Biar or the 'Fiesta de les Carasses' in Pet
