The vice-principal Jorge Hermosilla receives a medal for professional merits by the Local Police of Valencia

The vice-principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, Jorge Hermosilla, has received a medal for professional merits with Blue Badge of the Municipality for Civic Protection of the Valencian city council. The full professor of Geography has received the honour that is annually awarded by the Local Police of Valencia, by virtue of the collaboration entities or people with the named body.
Professor Hermosilla has coordinated several works in the field of civic protection of the Valencian city council as for example ‘The history of Local Police’, published during his period as dean of the Faculty of Geography and History. Recently, he has been one of the promoters of the University Chair for Civil Protection, between the UV and the city council, concretely with the Delegation of Security and Civil Protection. The medal has been given by the mayor of Valencia, Joan Ribó, in the presence of the delegate for Protection, Anais Menguzzato.
