The writer Elvira Lindo opens the exhibition Paraules Dedicades of the María Moliner Library

The writer Elvira Lindo will attend the opening of the exhibition Paraules Dedicades, hosted at the María Moliner Library on the Tarongers Campus. The event will start at 12pm on Friday, 28 June, at the terrace of the library.

Paraules Dedicades (Dedicated Words) offers a book sample signed by well-known authors, such as Lorenzo Silva, Andreu Martí, Roser Capdevila, César Bona and Elvira Lindo. The dedications add a special value to each book.

The famous writers have been visiting the María Moliner Library and agreed to dedicate a few words to their readers.

Elvia Lindo (Cádiz, 1962) will give a speech, followed by a Q&A. The Spanish writer is best known especially for her children’s seriesManolito Gafotas, a story about a cheeky boy from Carabanchel. The series won the Spanish National Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature. She is a regular columnist forEl Paísnewspaper and has collaborated on film scripts, such as the adaptation of her novelUna palabra tuya, which won the Biblioteca Breve Award.
