Punt Mobles

The legacy of Punt Mobles is the history of Valencian design and its memory includes the different generations of Valencian designers and a good representation of European design from the last thirty years.

From the youngest to the most established, from Cul de Sac, Vicente Blasco, Manolo Bañó, Pedro Miralles, Manuel Lecuona, José Juan Belda, Isabel Martínez, El Último Grito, Jorge Pensi, Carme Pinós, Pepe Cortés, Marcelo Alegre, Alejandro Miñana, Ana Mir, Emili Pedrós, Juan Manuel Ferrero, Borja Garcia, Jorge Cortés, René Wansdronk, Dylon, Wheeler and Van der Broeke, to all the extensive work of Terence Woodgate, Lola Castelló and Vicent Martínez.

Also present are projects for public facilities, such as the Noble Plant of Les Corts Valencianes, the Valencian National Library in Sant Miquel dels Reis, or projects carried out in collaboration with architects such as Rafael Moneo, Giorgio Grassi, Pedro Feduchi, Julián Esteban Chapafría, Manuel Portaceli, Carles Salvadores, Juan Añón, Gema Martí and others, for library facilities, museum and cultural areas, institutions, industries or shops.

The Punt Mobles legacy contains publications on the evolution of design in Spain during the 1980s, 1990s and 2000; records of press releases and articles published on the designs produced; conferences given; correspondence with organisations and designers; and projects presented at international fairs. There is no lack of dossiers with technical information and planimetry of the designs, as well as folders with drawings of designs, slides and CDs with images of the products.

The legacy also includes the graphic edition of catalogues and communications from the background of the company Pam i Mig to the foundation and history of the company Punt Mobles. The archive contains publications of all the graphic work done by graphic designers Nacho Lavernia, Pepe Gimeno and Isabel Martínez for Punt Mobles.
