With the cartography of the living and emblematic landscapes we aim to:
- Collect the living landscapes of the users. This is the landscapes that are part of their daily lives: places where they have grown, loved, go on vacation and ultimately have a special link.
- Collect the landscape that the users know and consider more emblematic, representative or singular of the Valencian Community.
Each landscape that is identified in the map must be followed by its typology. The options are:
- Forest: intense woodland (conifers, broadleaf forests…).
- Brushwood: vegetation dominated by shrubs (bush, medium sized woody plants).
- Agroforestry: woods, shrubs crops and pastures.
- Dry land cereal: arable crops (wheat, oats, barley…).
- Dry land wood: dry woodland crops (olive tree, almond tree, carob tree, apricot, cherry tree).
- Irrigated fruits yards: citrus fruits, apple trees, kakis…).
- Irrigated orchard: irrigated garden crops, including rice.
- Vineyards: vineyards.
- Disperse urbanism: disseminated building outside of the main urban area (residences, facilities for tourism, entertainment…).
- Intense urbanism: main urban areas.
- Water: lakes, reservoirs, wetlands, rivers, ravines and riverbanks.
- Industrial: communication infrastructure, power infrastructure and industrial parks.
- Symbolical-cultural: architectonic, historical and symbolical spaces for the local population.
- Coast: beaches, dunes and cliffs.
