This web page is devoted to one of my greatest passions, Statistics. I'm interested in everything related to statistics and more particularly its applications. I have been working during more than 20 years applying statistics to public health studies, actually for the Epidemiology Unit of the Valencian Regional Health Authority and for the Inequalities Area of the FISABIO Foundation. Currently, I am professor of the Statistics and Operations Research Department of the University of Valencia.
During my career I have mainly working on spatial statistics and its applications to health studies, either as point process, geostatistical models or small areas risk estimation models.
