RESOLUTION ABOUT RWANDA

The Communist Party of the Valencian Country (PCPV), faced with the dramatic situation which has been created in North and South Kivu, the frontier zone between Zaire and Rwanda, requires the immediate starting of an airlift for sending of medicaments and medicines to the refugees of this zone. But this humanitarian intervention not at all can justify an eventual international military intervention, which, if it is produced, would be newly a masked neocolonial action.

That which we believe that it is right is an urgent international diplomatic mediation in order to negotiate and facilitate the pass of humanitarian help, the responsibility of which distribution should be conferred to UNHCR and the NGO which are implanted there, which know better the situation and guarantee that the aim of the help were fulfilled.

The PCPV requires also the purge of responsibilities by selling weapons to the Hutu of Interahamwe, as from Europe (supposedly from Spain) as by the military men of Zaire, which rouse the conflict between their neighbours meanwhile submit to their country to the hardest repression.
