Contribuciones
científicas (English)
Pueden
presentarse aportaciones científicas en cualquiera de los temas
del Coloquio en forma de comunicaciones orales y, preferiblemente, de
posters, hasta el 10 de enero de 2003.
Todas las contribuciones serán evaluadas por el Comité científico.
Instrucciones
para la preparación de abstracts:
Los resúmenes
o abstracts deberán prepararse de acuerdo con las siguientes recomendaciones:
- 1) Debe
ser escrito en dos de las lenguas oficiales del congreso. Para ello
puede utilizarse la plantilla realizada en word para windows, que puede
bajarse de la página web del Coloquio (http://www.uv.es/Etnofarmacologia)
o puede solicitarse por e-mail a Etnofarmacologia@uv.es or congresos.valencia@viajeseci.es
- 2) Las
dimensiones deben adaptarse a un marco de 17 cm de ancho por 14 cm de
alto, incluso si se incluyen figuras, tablas y referencias.
- 3) La
fuente que debe utilizarse es Arial narrow.
- 4) El
título debe ser corto y debería proporcionar toda la información
necesaria, o lo que es lo mismo, reflejar el contenido de la conferencia
o comunicación. Arial Narrow, 12 p.
- 5) El
nombre del autor o de los autores debe escribirse en el mismo tipo de
letra (Arial narrow), pero en cursiva (itálica) a 11 puntos.
- 6) Debajo
de los nombres, sin dejar espacios, deben figurar los nombres de las
instituciones con el mismo tipo de fuente a 9 puntos.
- 7) El
cuerpo del texto, es decir, del resumen propiamente dicho, deberá
escribirse con el mismo tipo de fuente (Arial narrow) a 10 puntos.
- 8) Este
resumen debe contener información sobre el tipo de trabajo, los
métodos o técnicas empleados, los principales resultados
obtenidos, así como unas breves conclusiones.
- 9) Caso
de utilizar referencias, deberán numerarse según aparecen
en el texto (1, 2, 3..). Deben seguirse asimismo las normas bibliográficas
Vancouver (http://www.lib.monash.edu.au/vl/cite/cite09v.htm)

- 10) Deberán
remitirse en papel o diskette por correo a la secretaría técnica
del Congreso, o por e-mail a cualquiera de estas dos direcciones:

Posters
Se prevé la celebración de dos sesiones de posters o carteles.
Éstos deberían contener la siguiente información:
título informativo, autores, imágenes, figuras y gráficas
explicativas referidas al trabajo de investigación, métodos
empleados, resultados y conclusiones. Las medidas no deben sobrepasar
los 90 cm de ancho y los 120 cm de alto.
Los resúmenes
de los contenidos de los posters seguirán las mismas normas que
se han mencionado para el caso de las comunicaciones y también
deberán remitirse en papel o disquete por correo a la dirección
de la secretaría técnica del Congreso, o por e-mail, en
formato RTF o word, a cualquiera de estas direcciones:

Publicación
Previa realización del Coloquio se publicará un libro de
resúmenes de las conferencias, comunicaciones y posters.
Posteriormente se publicará un libro de actas que recogerá
la totalidad de las contribuciones.
Research
contributions
Scientific
contributions on any of the themes of the Congress will be welcomed, both
oral communications and, preferably, posters. All will be evaluated by
the scientific committee.
All abstracts
have to be prepared according to the following points:
- 1) The
abstract must be written in two of the congress official languages.
Please follow the overleaf model and use the template file in Microsoft
Word for Windows which is available for download from the congress website:
http://www.uv.es/Etnofarmacologia. You can also ask for the file sending
an e-mail to the following address:

- 2. The
abstract must be camera-ready. It should have a size of 17.0 cm (width)
x 14.0 cm (height) including figures, tables and references. Abstract
must fit into this frame.
- 3. Please
use Arial Narrow as font.
- 4. The
title should be short and informative. It should be written in bold
letters, with a font size of 12 points. Leave a blank line between the
title and the authors.
- 5. The
name(s) of the author(s) should be written in italic letters, with a
font size of 11 points; please underline the name of the presenting
author. Do not leave any blank line between the author(s) and the name(s)
of the institution(s).
- 6. Type
the name(s) of the institution(s), including the address for correspondence,
city and country, in normal letters with a font size of 9 points. Leave
a blank line between the address(es) and the body text.
- 7. The
body text should be written with a font size of 10 points.
- 8. The
abstract should be as substantial and concise as possible: the aim of
the work, the applied methods, the main results and the conclusion should
be presented.
- 9. The
references have to be numbered in the order of their appearance in the
text (1, 2); arrange the list of references in this order at the end
of the abstract. Please, keep the Vancouver style (http://www.lib.monash.edu.au/vl/cite/cite09v.htm)
- 10. Abstracts
will be submitted in paper or diskette to technical secretariat, or
by e-mail in format RTF or word to Etnofarmacologia@uv.es or congresos.valencia@viajeseci.es

Posters
Two poster sessions have been scheduled. Authors are asked to be at their
posters during the times indicated in the scientific programme. Posters
should consist of an informative title, self explanatory charts, figures
with text describing the aim of the investigation, methods employed, results
obtained and conclusion remarks.
Maximum size
of posters: 90 cm wide and 120 cm high.
The summaries of the contents of the posters will follow the same norms
that have been mentioned for the case of the communications. Abstracts
will be submitted in paper or diskette to technical secretariat, or by
e-mail in format RTF or word to Etnofarmacologia@uv.es or congresos.valencia@viajeseci.es

Notification of acceptance/rejection: 31th January 2003
Publication
Previously to the realization of the Colloquium it will be published a
book of summaries of the lectures, communications and posters.
After the realization of the Colloquium the contents of the lectures,
communications and posters will be published in the Proceedings-book.
