CLOSING BANQUET

The final dinner of the congress will take place in the Devesa Gardens (south of Valencia) on Thursday July 22 evening. Buses will be in charge for the transport from hotels to the Devesa Gardens.

The Closing Banquet (Euros 65.00 per person) is not included in the congress fees. Participants interested in attending this final dinner with cocktail, meal and music, shall make the registration in the Social and Partners Programme Form available in the web-site Social & Partners Programme.

FRIDAY EXCURSION

Following the traditions of previous EMOPs, an excursion day is included. This excursion will be organised on the Friday July 23. The day (9.30 to 20.00h) includes visit to Jativa, the city home of the Borgia Popes, Calixtus III and Alexander VI, full of palaces, a hospital from the 15th century, and a magnificent collegiate church that the Pope Alexander VI wished to transform into Cathedral. After visiting the old town, we will go up to the castle that crowns the city, where we will see the remains of all civilizations that have inhabited this privileged place from Roman times to our days. The lunch will be in the coastal locality of Gandia, famous because of its restaurants for rize paella, sea-food and fish dishes. After having a free time to enjoy the beach (a swim-suit is recommended for those interested to enjoy the Mediterranean water), buses will return to Valencia.

The Friday Excursion (Euros 53.00 per person) is not included in the congress fees. Participants interested in attending this excursion, shall make the registration in the Social and Partners Programme Form available in the web-site Social & Partners Programme.

PARTNERS PROGRAMME FOR ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

Additional to the Closing Banquet and the Friday Excursion included in the Social Programme for scientific participants, accompanying persons may also register for all-day activities on Monday July 19 (Valencia Modern City including City of Arts and Sciences), Tuesday July 20 (City of Porcelain and Panoramic Tour), Wednesday July 21 (Guadalest-Benidorm Excursion), and Thursday July 22 (Valencia Historic City).

Those activities of the Partners Programme may be purchased by individual days, by completing the Social and Partners Programme Form available in the web-site Social & Partners Programme.
