UNA MIRADA PSICOSOCIOPOLÍTICA DE LA CORRUPCIÓN
Olga
Leticia Marin.
sistema.
ABSTRACT
This work deals
with an analysis of corruption, specially how it has
developed in the argentine sociopolitical context.
Data from empirical studies on the objective and subjective impact of the
phenomenon are put forward. Within the framework of an anomic society, the
relationship among the institutional structures, the neoliberal
model, and a transgressive culture which facilitates
the spreading of corrupt practices is analyzed. Some psychosocial mechanisms
that extensive sectors of the populations use to develop defenses
against the aggressions of the system are briefly set forth.

ABSTRACT
It is a common
notion that large distinctions between the right-wing and the left-wing do not
exist. Is this dichotomy still useful to understand different psychological
attitudes and sensibilities? 382 students of Turin's University (Faculties of
Political Sciences, Medicine and Engineering), none of them party militants,
answered our questionnaire. Three different psychological areas were
investigated: the causal attributions given to some social events (drug
addiction, immigration); the perception and evaluation of the welfare
contribution to disadvantaged social groups; and the self-perception of
potential psychiatric and drug problems. The results confirm our hypothesis and
reveal a strong relationship between subjects' political preference and
psychological constructs.

PSICOLOGÍA POLÍTICA EN LA ESPAÑA DE LAS AUTONOMÍAS
Adela

ABSTRACT
The contributions
to Political Psychology in Spain from prewar social thought, and then from the academy,
are described in this work. The different generations that have contributed to the
institutionalization of Political Psychology are described. Also the
transformations that the discipline is having at the end of the 90s are
analyzed. These transformations we can summarize in two facts: the body politic
abandons formal polity and at every step becomes more social and more local.
Because of this, along with the topics of the years 70-80, others appear that
are opposed to the classic definition of Political Psychology. Identity and
memory become central topics for the discipline in autonomous Spain

lenguas oficiales.
ABSTRACT
The article
analyzes from a juridical-procedural perspective, some of the topics that the
application of the novel Law of the Jury of 1995 has raised in Spain. The main
object of analysis is the moment in which the jury carries out the decisive
procedural act, that is to say, when the jurors deliver the verdict. The
Spanish model has some singular characteristics that render the jury sui
generis. One of these features is the need to explain the verdict, while the
classic jury (formed by lay persons) has been noteworthy historically for the
absence of the requirement that the verdict be justified. We also point out
that the linguistic question has not been correctly gauged by the legislators.
This matter of language is clearly relevant in a country like Spain where more
than one-third of the population has two official languages.

ABSTRACT
An experiment is
described in which the more common factors in the constitution of the jury are
employed. However, we focus on the effects on group discussion, keeping in
mind the effect of the group size and the decision rule. We have in mind three
objectives. On one hand, we seek to define the impact of the errors made by
group memory and their rectification, as well as the effects of erroneous
deliberations; on the other hand, we deduce the inferences realized by the
group and analyze their impact in terms of bias. Last, we aim to identify the
stories generated in the discussion and to look for those most shared for each
verdict option.

APORTACIONES DE LA PSICOLOGÍA ANTE EL JUICIO CON TRIBUNAL DE JURADO. ESTUDIO
DE UN CASO
Elisa Alfaro.
ABSTRACT
In this article we describe
how psychologists are beginning to work in Spain by advising lawyers and
collaborating with them in trials with juries. This collaboration cannot be
reduced to only the selection of the jurors. In the first place, because
previous studies demonstrate that a selection made in perfectly controlled
conditions only explains 16% of the total variability in the verdict. Second,
because the juries deliberate with the evidence that they observe in the
courtroom. We present the possibilities of collaboration of a psychologist with
a lawyer before, during, and after the trial before a Jury.
