Exploring national and sector differences
Deliverable Nr 7.1

The societal context and the sector of economic activity are assumed to influence the zone of negotiability, the content and the state of the psychological contract. We will identify critical factors influencing employee well-being directly or indirectly related to these differences between countries and sectors. In this way we include country and sector in a multilevel analysis of the "employee well-being model".>>>

Investigating the relationship between the psychological contract
and employee well-being: Data collection and analysis
Deliverable Nr 6.1

This is the second core element in the study and the objectives for WP 6 complement those for WP 5. They are: (1)To examine the relationship between the state of the psychological contract in organizations and countries specified in WP 5 and a range of employee-centred outcomes reflecting various dimensions of well-being. (2) To test the full model of the causes, content, state and consequences of the psychological contract. (3) To explore the direct and mediated effect of type of employment contract on employee well-being. (4) To integrate the responses from employees and managers on the content of the psychological contract and examine the consequences of more or less consensus for employee well-being.>>>

Societal dimensions: Context of the Psychological Contract Deliverable Nr 4.1

Societal contexts, varying across the EU, are assumed to determine the zone of negotiability, the content, and the state of the psychological contract. PSYCONES aims (1) to identify those societal core dimensions relevant to the psychological contract; and (2) to provide quantitative data on the identified dimensions for cross-national comparisons in order to, (2a) characterise the currently participating countries; (2b) include "society" in a multilevel analysis of the "Employee well-being model"; and (2c) suggest other EU countries for future replication studies.>>>

Instruction work book and blueprint methodology Deliverable Nr 3.1

In order to make sure that differences between countries are a result of differences concerning the variables under research and not a result of differences in method, one target of international research is to make sure that there is no variation in method. Therefore standard rules have to be applied for data collection procedure, data checks, construction of scales, indices and new variables, handling of codes and missing data and conventions on how to document basic results which serve as a base for further data analyses of all partners. The main objective of WP 3 therefore is to develop rules to ensure that everybody conducts the same interview and follows the same design (sampling, number of participants etc). >>>

Results from pilot phase
Deliverable Nr 2.2

The general aim of the PSYCONES project is the investigation of how changing patterns of employment relations affect well-being and quality of life for European citizens. More specifically we propose to investigate the "psychological contract" as a possible intervening factor affecting the relationship between degree of job permanency and individual well-being. We also assume that both employment contract and the psychological contract have an effect on various organizational outcomes >>>

Employee/Organizational Well-being among Workers in Europe.
Deliverable Nr 1.1

This report wants to outline the ‘state of the art’ with regard to research and facts and figures relevant for the PSYCONES project, as previously defined by Isaksson et al.
