I am interested in a wide range of fields in Astrophysics, Cosmology and Space Science, attending both theory, simulations and observations. Among my principal interests, I stand out the following topics:

In the field of High-Energy Astrophysics, I focus on accretion flows and relativistic outflows (jets) around compact objects (i.e. Neutron Stars and Black Holes), from the formation near the gravity source to the propagation and interaction with the intergalactic/interstellar medium.

In the field of Fundamental Plasma Physics, I focus on both existing scales; from (Relativistic and General Relativistic) Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) approach to the kinetic theory, specially energy dissipation, wave-particle interactions and magnetic reconnection in collisionless plasma.

At present, I develop my research activity in the context of the projects below:

  • I am a PhD candidate in Physics in the field of Observational, Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics, under the supervision of Prof. Manel Perucho Pla (University of Valencia) and Dr. Simone Migliari (European Space Agency). The main topic of my Thesis concerns the formation and evolution of relativistic outflows (jets) around compact objects (i.e. Black Holes and Neutron Stars) in X-ray Binary systems (microquasars), with both theoretical-numerical and observational approach. The PhD is fully funded by the ”La Caixa” Foundation INPhINIT Retaining fellowship.
  • For the last two years, I have been involved in NASA Magnetospheric MultiScale (MMS) mission data analysis (NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, Heliophysics Science Division), under the supervision of Dr. Natalia Buzulukova and Dr. Adolfo Figueroa-Vi˜nas, focusing on plasma turbulence and anomalous dissipation.

La Caixa Foundation INPhINIT Retaining Fellowship.

July, 2019.

I have been awarded with the La Caixa Foundation INPhINIT Retaining fellowship, the most prestigious and competitive grant to take up official doctoral studies at any university or research centre in Spain and Portugal. The application process is open to outstanding early-stage researchers of any nationality and covers all areas of knowledge, being aimed at supporting the best scientific talent and fostering innovative high-quality research. In this call, only 30 PhD fellowships (7 in Theoretical and Applied Sciences) were awarded among more than 600 accepted applications. The fellowship implies a total payment amount of 122.592 euros. The La Caixa - INPhINIT fellowship programme is co-funded by the European Commission through COFUND, one of the Marie Sk lodowska-Curie initiatives of the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.

NOVA Talent Membership.

September 2018.

Nova combines technology, intelligence, and 20 years of experience when consulting companies in how to attract the most capable tech in the markets where it operates. At the same time, Nova is an exclusive network of present and future tech -and business leaders- in the top 1% talent segment.

To ensure all members are in the top 1%, Nova developed a rigorous by-invitationonly application process. This process allows to predict performance with as high accuracy as possible regardless of demographics. The application process, measuring over 200 data points, also analyses teamwork propensity, personal skills as well as professional and academic achievements

Spanish Nuclear Society Grant in Nuclear Physics.

Spanish Nuclear Society (Sociedad Nuclear Española), July 2017.

Each year, the Spanish Nuclear Society (Sociedad Nuclear Espa˜nola, SNE) appoints a selection of students around the country to be awarded with a Grant that covers the expenses of a Master’s Degree in the field of Nuclear Physics. The selection procedure considers both the qualifications of the candidate and the quality and impact of any previous work in the field of Nuclear Physics and/or Nuclear Technology.
