Who we are

The Laboratory of Colloidal Methods for Multifunctional Materials (CM3-Lab) is currently part of the research group MacroCoSM - Macromolecules & Colloids for Sustainable Materials at the Institute of Materials Science of the University of Valencia (ICMUV). Our lab started as a Max Planck Partner Group associated to the Department of Physical Chemistry of Polymers of the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research.

We focus on the development of multifunctional hybrid systems to be used as platforms for the sustainable use of resources. How to apply the confinement provided by colloidal systems for the control of structure and properties of polymer materials and polymer/inorganic hybrids is the central scientific question of our team.
