How to reach CEA
DAp is located in Saclay about 20 km south-west of Paris. It can be easily reached with public transportation: it is within few minutes walk of two regular bus lines leading to RER stops Massy-Palaiseau and Le Guichet (respectively 25 and 10 minutes trip). There are a number of accomodation facilities in these two locations. In addition, Paris and its two airports can be easily reached from Massy-Palaiseau or Le Guichet with the RER B line (around 1 hour-trip from Saclay to Paris).
From Le Guichet one should take bus 9 until bus stop "Orme des merisiers" (10 minutes trip). From Massy Palaiseau one should take bus 91.06B or 91.06C until "Orme des merisiers" (25 minutes trip). From the bus stop to the conference venue (salle Galilée at Department of Astrophysics) is about 5 minutes walk. Hotel:
He have pre-booked rooms at the Hotel Orsay, which conveniently located near the stop "Le Guichet" on the RER B and the bus line 9. The price is 86 Euro incuding breakfast. For those interested, you should reserve directly at the hotel. To get the special price mention the reference number 104829 in the "comments" section of the online reservation form at the Hotel's webpage. The deadline to book the pre-reserved rooms is October 15th.
