Basic guidelines to prevent COVID-19
- Stay at home if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, you have been diagnosed with the disease or if you are self-quarantining because you have been in contact with infected cases.
- If you are diagnosed with the disease and you have been to the UV facilities during the previous 48 hours to the onset of symptoms or the confirmation of the diagnosis, please inform immediately of it via email covid@uv.es and the person in charge of your centre or service.
- You will be able to work from home if you are in charge of any person under fourteen or a disabled person that have to comply with quarantine, for that period. Consult the procedure and conditions with Human Resources PAS and Human Resources PDI services.
- Observe the basic COVID-19 protective measures to avoid the disease transmission: wash your hands, wear a mask and maintain at least 1.5-metre distance between yourself and others.
- You can come to the centre wearing your own mask or ask for one in the building where you work. All buildings have hygienic or surgical masks to distribute them among the UV staff at the entrance.
- The UV has all the preventive measures for face-to-face work according to the Instruction IUV 17/2020, such as the organisation of the rooms, the supply of hygiene and protective material, or reinforced ventilation and cleaning to guarantee a safe workplace. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the person in charge of your structure (centre, service, department, institute, etc.). In addition, within the field of teaching, the SPMA has published the general guidelines for prevention and protection against COVID-19 for the 2020-2021 school year.
- If you belong to a risk group, you must comply scrupulously with the protective measures. If you have any doubts about the compatibility of face-to-face work with your clinical condition, you can ask the Health and Safety and the Environment Service for a report on the preventative, workplace adaptation and protective measures required in your case.
