This JURE DocMornings UV session is designed just for you — PhD students stepping into the classroom for the first time. We’ll share practical tips, real stories, and tools to help you feel confident and prepared to start this special journey.

What You’ll Learn: - How to structure and plan your lessons
How students learn and how we can make instruction effective (brief explanation of Educational Psychology)
Simple techniques to engage students from day one
Aula virtual tools that are actually useful and cool
What to do when things don’t go as planned (spoiler: it’s normal!)
Q&A with PhDs who’ve been in your shoes
This session is open to all PhD students teaching for the first time — or anyone who wants to feel more confident in their teaching. We’ll benefit from discussing, asking questions, and sharing common concerns with each other. As always, breakfast is on us! ☕
