About EDCP

In a constantly evolving world, where cyber threats and public security issues are a persistent concern, our research focuses on addressing these challenges from an economic perspective. We explore how these dynamics affect available economic resources, influence business and government decision-making, and contribute to equity in the provision of security services. The Defence Economics, Cybersecurity and Protection Research Group is organized around research lines aimed at generating high-quality knowledge, using appropriate quantitative and statistical approaches, and conducting economic and social studies that enable the implementation of more efficient policies and actions in the field of security and protection.
