The new edition of C1b3rWall Academy 2026 is now underway, consolidating its position as one of the most significant training initiatives in the field of cybersecurity in Spain. The program, promoted by the National Police (Policía Nacional) and the University of Salamanca, offers a free, open, and fully online learning pathway that addresses some of today’s key technological challenges.

In this edition, the academy provides participants with a total of 22 training modules, which will be released progressively at a rate of one per week. The first block, focused on the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, is already available, marking the beginning of a program that combines both theoretical and applied content.

The syllabus covers key areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, digital forensics, the Internet of Things (IoT), pentesting, and malware analysis. This thematic diversity reflects the growing interdependence between emerging technologies and digital security—an essential aspect for both academia and the defense economy, as well as for the protection of critical infrastructure.

C1b3rWall Academy is framed within a context of increasing cyber risks and a rising need for specialized training—not only for industry professionals but also for citizens interested in understanding the impact of these technologies. Its open nature contributes to democratizing access to knowledge in what has traditionally been a highly technical field.

From an outreach perspective, initiatives like this highlight the role of public and academic institutions in building a culture of cybersecurity. Continuous education in these areas is key to addressing the challenges posed by digitalization and to strengthening social and economic resilience against increasingly sophisticated threats.
