How to reach Valencia

by train: Valencia is well connected with Madrid (AVE 1h 40'), Barcelona (Euromed 3h) and Alicante (Euromed 1h 35') with high speed trains arriving to Valencia at Joaquin Sorolla station. Regional and long-distance trains (talgo, intercity...) arrive in Valencia-Nord station. Both stations are connected by a free shuttle bus running every 10' (a few minutes ride), although walking is also possible (15'). Once in Valencia Nord, the venue and all the hotels offered by the organization are at walking distance (10'). If you arrive at Joaquin Sorolla station, and depending of your hotel location, you may consider taking the metro from "Joaquin Sorolla-Jesus" to Colon (line 5).

by plane: From Manises airport the easiest way to arrive at the city center is by metro (about 20'). All lines at the airport (3 and 5) stop in Xativa and Colon, at walking distance from the conference venue (10') and the hotels offered by the organization (all within 10'). A taxi from the airport to the city center should cost about 20 EUR.

by bus: Buses arrive in Valencia at the Bus station (Menendez Pidal, 11). It is possible to walk from the bus station to the conference venue (20') and the hotels (20-30') by crossing the river bed and walking through the old city center (you will need a map of Valencia for this). The nearest metro station is Turia (from the bus station, turn right and walk 5' along the river). Take line 1 to Angel Guimera (1 station) and walk from there or change to lines 3 or 5 to go to Xativa or Colon station.
