After housing the Vice-Chancellor (Rector’s) Office of the University of Valencia, the building underwent an important renovation to house the Office of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Vice-Rector) for Culture, and the Historical Library, which coexist with the former Vice-Chancellor’s (Rector’s) Office, the Paraninfo, Aula Magna, Sala Matilde Salvador and five other rooms dedicated to exhibitions (Estudi General, Sala Oberta, Thesaurus, Sala Duc de Calàbria and Sala Martínez Guerricabeitia). Lecture rooms, administrative departments and cultural management can also be found here.
The closing dinner of the 19th European Contest for Young Scientists will be celebrated at La Nau. To take a virtual visit of La Nau or to find out more about the history of the historical building you can visit its web site (in Valencian, Spanish and English):
