I obtained a degree in History in 2000 from the University of Valencia and work as a Senior Technician in Research Management and Assessment. I worked at the National Centre for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) of the Carlos III Healthcare Institute (ISCIII) from 2002 to 2008 as head of management of the CNIC-UVEG Joint Research Unit. Subsequently, I joined the Servei d'Investigació (Research Service) of the University of Valencia and worked in the Projects and Infrastructures Area until 2011. Currently, I support the research team coordinated by Dr Jose Viña, managing and collaborating in the various activities involved in research and innovation. I work for the ISCIII within the CIBER (Biomedical Research Centre Network) in the area of Frailty and Healthy Ageing for the G21 and Programme 1: Basic, clinical and environmental mechanisms associated with the development of frailty and its impact on healthcare systems. I am currently involved in setting up the Master in Geriatrics and Gerontology programme intended for general practitioners and doctors who wish to specialise in geriatrics; the course will be held at the University of Valencia together with RAMCV and CIBERFES.
