I attained my Pharmacy degree in 2001. I finished my doctoral thesis in José Viña’s laboratory, Department of Physiology at the University of Valencia in 2007, and two years later, I received the Special Distinction Award.

My work is funded by a government grant and is mainly focused on nutrition, ageing, and longevity manipulation.

During this time I have learnt different molecular biology techniques, such as gene and protein expression and determination of protein activities.
