When a linearly polarized light beam impinges on a linear polarizer the transmitted intensity, which depends on the relative angle between the plane of vibration of light and the transmission axis of the polarizer, can be expressed by the Malus’ law. This simulation allows to see the effect of one or more linear polarizers on the intensity of the incident unpolarized light beam. You can select up to three linear polarizers, for which it is possible to change the orientation of the axis, verifying the fulfillment of the Malus' law.
