Hypotheses on human evolutionThere are still many uncertainties about human evolution. Here some hypotheses: Initially prepared in 2009 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth (February 12, 1809) and 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species (November 24, 1859). Updated several times since then. |
0. In his 1863 Evidence as to Man's Place in Nature, Darwin's friend Thomas Huxley exaggerated the size of the Gibbon while presenting the anatomical argument explicit in the above frontispiece.
