CALL FOR PAPERS

LRC XII, the 12th Internationalisation and Localisation Conference organised by the Localisation Research Centre (LRC) at the University of Limerick, Ireland, will take place on 27-28 September 2007 in Dublin, Ireland, at the European Foundation. The conference will provide a forum for discussion of both industrial and academic research as well as for the presentation of collaborative projects. We are now inviting proposals for papers covering the following or similar topics: Standards in Localisation Personalisation, Cultural Preferences and Customisation Professional Development Language Technologies Development Localisation Blowback Localisation Process Design and Implementation Open Source Localisation Automated Engineering Solutions Computational Linguistics and Localisation Translation Studies and Localisation Cultural Issues and Localisation Machine and Machine-assisted Translation Socio-political impact of Localisation Market Considerations Outsourcing Process Automation

Proposals should include contact details for the authors and a short, one paragraph, biographical note. They should be approximately 200 words long and should reach the LRC not later than 02 July 2007.
