REFERENCE METEOROLOGICAL DATA | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The University of Castilla-La Mancha, through the "Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Agrónomos", operates three agro-meteorological stations in the study area of Barrax (fig. 7.1): a) Tiesas-Anchor Station (39º 02’ 31” N; 2º 04’ 55” W) b) Tiesas-Lysimeter Station (39º 03’ 30” N; 2º 05’ 24” W) c) Blancares Station (39º 06’ 45” N; 2º 06’ 40” W) These stations belong to the Permanent Station Network of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and are connected by modem with the central computer at the Institute for Regional Development in Albacete. The data are compiled and stored automatically for later treatment, as well as being accessible in real time. Measurements are done by all sensors every 30 seconds and are stored every 10 minutes.
