Biografia

Begoña Clavel Arroitia és professora titular del Departament de Filologia Anglesa i Alemanya de la Universitat de València i membre de l’Institut Interuniversitari de Llengües Modernes Aplicades (IULMA). Abans d’això, va ser professora en educació secundària. Imparteix assignatures de llengua anglesa i d’adquisició de segones llengües a nivell de grau i de màster. Ha realitzat investigació sobre l’autenticitat en els llibres de text i sobre la negociació del significat en el discurs de l’aula. Més recentment ha analitzat la negociació del significat en intercanvis telecol·laboratius en secundària i ha examinat la densitat, la diversitat i la sofisticació lèxica en intercanvis telecol·laboratius a nivell universitari. Ha participat en diversos projectes d’investigació a nivell regional, nacional i europeu. En la última dècada ha participat en els projectes europeus TILA i TeCoLa. Des del 2022 fins el 2024 ha participat en el projecte europeu Erasmus+ E-LIVE.
