Biografia

Doctor en Química (Universitat d'Erlangen-Nuremberg (Alemanya)) per la seva tesi sobre la síntesi de polímers conductors d'electricitat per a la litografia amb feix d'electrons, que es va realitzar a Infineon Technologies AG (antiga empresa de el grup SIEMENS). Després es va unir a el grup UMDO a l'Institut de Ciència de Materials de la Universitat de València com a postdoc on va llançar una nova línia d'investigació en el camp de la síntesi química de nous nanomaterials per optoelectrònica, fotovoltaica i sensors. A finals de 2009 va cofundar Intenanomat S.L. empresa spin-off de la Universitat de València, on va ser gerent d'R + D durant 7 anys. Intenanomat està dirigit a la R + D de nanomaterials per a aplicacions en biotecnologia, sensors, optoelectrònica, catàlisi i energia renovable. En 2017 es va unir novament a la Universitat de València amb una beca Ramón i Cajal i va llançar una nova línia d'investigació en el camp de la síntesi i formulació de nanomaterials de nanomaterials per optoelectrònica, termoelèctrica, foto i electrocatàlisi i sensors.

La seva principal línia de recerca se centra en la síntesi i deposició de nous nanomaterials multifuncionals per optoelectrònica, conversió d'energia, detecció i catàlisi utilitzant diferents tècniques de deposició i impressió. En particular, té un gran interès en la síntesi de nanopartícules metàl·liques (Au, Ag, Pt), nanocristalls semiconductors (perovskita d'halur de plom, punts quàntics), òxids metàl·lics (TiO2, ZnO, NIOX, CoOx, SnOx, inox .. .) i polímers conductors i els seus nanocompostos. A causa de la combinació d'aquestes propietats, els nanocompostos són els candidats ideals per a la fabricació de baix cost de la propera generació de nanodispositius micro i d'alt rendiment en estat sòlid.

Actualment, ha publicat més de 70 documents de revisió per parells, 12 patents, més de 60 contribucions a la conferència, i ha rebut més de 1300 cites, un H = 21 i en Nanociència / Nanotecnologia i Física-Química (Font: Google Scholar ). Actualment supervisa 3 tesis, 5 tesis de mestratge, 8 tesis de llicenciatura i ha supervisat 1 tesis doctoral.
