Call for Papers: Pre-conference Workshop on Probabilistic Graphical Models for Earth System Science

We invite submissions for the PGM 2026 pre-conference workshop, Probabilistic Graphical Models for Earth System Science (PGM-ESS 2026), which will take place in Valencia, Spain on 8 September 2026.

The workshop aims to bring together researchers from machine learning, statistics, causal inference, and earth system sciences to explore the application of probabilistic graphical models to environmental, ecological, atmospheric, and climate challenges.

We invite submissions in the form of a simple abstract (up to 500 words or 1 page). Submissions are non-archival, providing a venue to present ongoing work, preliminary results, or research currently under review elsewhere.

Submissions should be sent via email to pgm2026@uv.es (either as plain text in the body of the email or as a PDF attachment) with the subject line “PGM-ESS 2026 Abstract Submission: [Your Name]”.
