Publication of the basis of the 21st Edition of the Universitat-Societat Awards, the deadline for the candidacies’ presentation ends the 1 July (included).

The Board of Trustees calls for the 21st Edition of the Universitat-Societat Awards of the Board of Trustees of the Universitat de València, with which this organism recognises the work of people and institutions collaborating in the achievement of the mentioned purposes. 

This call is regulated by the basis approved by the plenary session of the Board of Trustees of the Universitat de València in the session of the 28 April 2016.

Candidacies can be presented for different modalities:

I. Research and Development

• Addressed to recognise collaboration actions and  projects in R&D between groups or teams of the Universitat de València, and firms, entities or institutions, resulted from the establishment of a model cooperation relationship.

II. Collaboration Trajectory of the Universitat de València-Societat

• Addressed to recognise firms, entities and institutions that have developed collaboration programmes with the Universitat de València (in a different field to the R&D area) proving an exemplary trajectory.

III. Alumni Plus

First modality

• Addressed to recognise the contribution of ideas and innovative projects of the students group of the Universitat de València in the area of collaboration Universitat-Societat. (In an environment where knowledge and information are widely distributed and in which the innovation traditional model presents its limits, there is a need of exploring and establishing new mechanisms that allow to make the most of the students talent and capacity).

Second modality

• Addressed to recognise the professional, academic or business excellence of alumni of the Universitat de València, with a confirmed trajectory proving an excellent contribution, and specially relevant to the Societat progress.

IV. Awards to the Teaching Excellence Board of Trustees of the Universitat de València and Education Department of the Valencian Government (Academic Year 2014-2015)

• Addressed to university professors, of any category or position, that have a stable link with the Universitat de València.
