The UGDG provides services to support the design and development of studies that can be analysed and for which the techniques and methodologies available are the most appropriate. Therefore, different types of studies can be performed from different points of their execution. Some of the services that can be performed in the UGDG are:

• DNA and RNA extraction (quality study and quantification).
• RNA quantification (mRNA and micro RNAs levels). Study of a gene and all its known genes by quantitative PCR, microchips or NGS.
• Detection of mutations and polymorphisms.
• Genotyping of samples (specific genetic regions or the whole genome). We can offer specific designs, or designs with Illumina commercial microchips.
• Transcriptome and miRNAs sequencing (quantification and identification of sequence alterations) by NGS.
• Sequencing of exomes of regions of interests by NGS.
• Metagenomics studies.
