Biography

Full Professor since November 2025. She holds a PhD in Social and Behavioral Sciences (2006) from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia (2000), a Master's in Human Resources Management and Leadership (2001), and a Master's in Behavioral Therapy (2008). She is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Research Methods and Diagnostics in Education (MIDE) at the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences, University of Valencia.

She has published articles in international journals on innovative methodologies for addressing diversity, social comparison processes and burnout among teaching staff, self-efficacy and goals of university students, and particularly on values, acculturation, and intercultural competencies.

Currently, she is a member of the Board for Institutional Relations of the Interuniversity Association for Pedagogical Research (AIDIPE), Secretary of the Transdisciplinary Network for Educational Research (RETINDE), as well as a member of the European Educational Research Association (EERA) and the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP). She has been a visiting professor at the University of Maryland (USA), the University of Groningen (Netherlands), Kingston University (UK), and Humboldt University, Berlin (Germany), among others.

Her research focuses on intercultural competencies, innovative methodologies for addressing diversity, and educational contexts.
