The countdown to the PAU results begins after three intense days of exams

The University Entrance Exam (PAU) has finished on Thursday and now a nerve-wracking waiting period starts until next Friday 12th with the release of results. From then on, the future student body of the University of Valencia will have a period of request for reviews and of publication of final marks.

The University Entrance Exam (PAU) took place smoothly and without incident throughout this week. Some Bachillerato (upper secondary school education) teachers who collaborated in this process went to the classrooms wearing the representative waistcoat of the strike starred by a significant portion of this community.

After the exams have finished, the student body will have to wait around a week until next Friday 12 June when the results of the entrance exam will be released to the public. Examination request


From the moment the marks are released, a period of three days (15, 16, and 17 June) starts to request revisions for the exams, and on Friday 19 June the final results will be published. The extraordinary call of the PAU exams is expected to be held on the days 30 June, and 1 and 2 July. These tests tend to be taken by students who took the extraordinary call for the final Bachillerato exams, did not pass the PAU in the first call, and wanted to raise their mark even if they passed.


The pre-enrolment to the degrees of the University of Valencia for the 2026-27 academic year opens on 15 June and closes on 3 June at 2:00 pm.

It should be borne in mind that a total of 7,212 people took the university entrance exams at the University of Valencia. Following the trend of previous years, there were mainly women, with 4,259 of them enrolled compared to 2,953 men. This year's PAU at the oldest academic institution of Valencia, which has more than five hundred years of history, had, among other new incorporations, the remodelling of spaces for the Artistic Drawing tests and, also, the adaptation of spaces in order to enable almost 500 students with special needs to have the same opportunities as the rest of the student body when taking the university entrance exam. Moreover, moving with the times, the university has implemented frequency detectors and other technological measures to prevent students from using AI o cheating on their exams with electronic devices.


The University of Valencia divided the PAU into 16 tribunals across different venues at the Burjassot-Paterna, Taronjers and Ontinyent Campus. In the 16 campus, there are 379 specialist vocalists in the different subjects: 231 are volunteers from secondary schools (61 %) and 147 volunteers from the university (39 %).
