On 29 June 2011 the Board of Trustees of the University of Valencia approved the creation of the Web and Marketing Unit depending on the Office of the Vice-Principal for Institutional Relations and Communication.

Since its founding, the Web and Marketing Unit assume the development of the UV Web Contents Management for the establishment of our corporative websites. This transformation, initiated in January of the past year, supposed a deep transformation of the web communication of the UV and their processes of edition and publication, by means of the impulse of collaborative settings and the using of the "single data". It also supposed a step forward in the implication of our community in the use of new tools and functionalities which offer communicative means and models that are at the height of the present times and with which we will obtain the right image of the potential of our University.
