The course was entitled "Treatment of detainees: application of the rules implementing the procedural guarantees of European Union directives", organised by the Jean Monnet Institute of European Studies-Centre of Excellence.
Coral Arangüena Fanego and Montserrat de Hoyos Sancho, professors of Procedural Law at the University of Valladolid and members of the PROMETEO 2018/111 group, participated on 15 October 2019 in the Faculty of Law of the University of Valladolid in an academic activity to train police officers of the National Corps and the Spanish Military Police, within the framework of the European Module "Jean Monnet. Activities Teaching and Research", which was aimed at analysing the treatment of detainees, with special attention to the application of the rules implementing the procedural guarantees contained in the European Directives on the right to information, to legal aid and to translation and interpretation.
