Professor Carlos Esplugues participated in the 68th Session of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) held in New York from 5 to 9 February 2018.

The session concluded its work on the proposal for a new UNCITRAL Convention on International Mediation Agreements and on the reform of the Model Law on International Commercial Conciliation of 2002. Both texts will be assessed and eventually adopted by the Commission at its next session in New York (25 June to 13 July 2018).
