During the month of October 2019, Guillermo Palao Moreno (Professor of International Private Law at the University of Valencia, member of the research groups MINECO and PROMETEO, and professor of the Masters Degree in Law, Business and Justice) has carried out a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition.

During this stay, he has been able to analyse the problems that arise in the management and resolution of disputes that occur in the framework of international contracts for the transfer of technology and how artificial intelligence is linked to them. A stay that has also allowed him to meet with researchers from the aforementioned Max Planck Institute and the Faculty of Law of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, as well as with specialists from the European Patent Office, which is one of the characteristics of the research group.
