
The MedArbValencia research group of the Universitat de València, which in turn manages the Official Master’s Degree in Law, Business and Justice, was third on the list for grants from the Prometeo Programme of the Valencian Community for excellence in research groups.
The MedArbValencia research group of the Universitat de València has received one of the 32 Prometeo grants of the Valencian Government for excellence in research groups in 2018. With a success rate of 18.82%, 170 application forms were submitted, of which only 32 have received financing. The project presented by MedArbValencia Research Group, under direction of PhD and honorary doctor Silvia Barona Vilar, manager, has reached the third place among the other projects and it is the only one from the Universitat de València that covers the topic of law and has received financing (Prometeo 2018/111).
The title of this project is “Keys of Civil and Penal Justice in Society of Fear: Feminization, Artificial Intelligence, Supranationality, Efficiency and Securitization.” Along with some other members of the research group (professors Carlos Esplugues Mota and Guillermo Palao Moreno) other researchers of the Universitat de València (professor Elena Martínez García) and other Spanish Universities: A Coruña (professor Patricia Faraldo), Basque Country (professor Francisco Etxeberría Guridi), Seville (professor Isabel González Cano) and Valladolid (professors Coral Arangüena Fanego and Montserrat de Hoyos).
