15, 18, 19 and 20 March are public holidays at the UV.

28 March (to compensate for 6 January, a public holiday on Saturday), 29 and 30 March (Holy Saturday), as well as 1 and 8 April 2024 will be public holidays.

Two shifts are established:

First shift

From 25 to 27 March inclusive.

During this shift, the entire staff of each administrative unit will work in morning and afternoon shifts, with the exception of the essential staff of the centres and services, that may be designated for the second shift by the Office of the General Manager.

Second shift

From 2 to 5 April, inclusive.

During this shift, the staff of the centres and services that may be established by the Office of the General Manager will work, in exceptional cases, in the morning, since essential services and tasks are guaranteed.

An extra day will be worked in the second shift, for which these staff members will have to be compensated with an extra day off, depending on the needs of the service.

Public holidays are 24, 25 and 31 December 2024 and 1 and 6 January 2025.

Two shifts are established:

First shift

On 23, 26 and 27 December 2024 inclusive.

During this shift, the entire staff of each administrative unit will work, with the exception of the essential staff of the centres and services, that may be designated for the second shift by the Office of the General Manager. 

Second shift

30 December 2024, 2 and 3 January 2025.

During this shift, the staff that may be designated by the Office of the General Manager will work exceptionally to ensure the essential services and tasks.

During these two shifts, the services will remain closed in the afternoon and the staff will be reassigned to the morning shift.

• 6, 13, 20 and 27 July
• 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 August

If the opening day of the academic year falls on a Friday, the following day, Saturday, will be a general holiday.

In services without a fixed day of service, staff will be divided into two shifts to enjoy a holiday of their choice between 31 October and 5 December 2024. 

It is foreseen that all staff will be able to take 6 days of personal leave or the equivalent in proportion to the time worked during the calendar year.

The days of personal leave corresponding to 2024 can be used until 28 February 2025.

In addition, UV staff will have two more days of leave, on 28 March and 24 June 2024, corresponding to the compensatory days of 6 January and 12 October, in accordance with the provisions of point 7 of the general calendar of the UV.
