- To collect, to organise, and to guard the documentation transferred by the services and the administrative units.
- To manage the documentary transfers of the administrative services.
- To apply the evaluation and selection of the documentation, according with the regulations established by the university.
- To manage the documentation loan for the production corporate bodies and the consult of the same according to the regulations for access to the documents.
- To provide technical advice to the current archives.
- To train users through the courses that are taught for the staff of this University within the training programme developed by the University of Valencia.
