University of Valencia libraries offer a room reading and study service with a maximum capacity of 50%. In compliance with the recommended safety and hygiene standards, the libraries will provide their reading positions in morning and afternoon shifts. When accessing the library, the staff will lend one reading position per user, which can be occupied from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., or from 3:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. At the end of their shift, the patron must leave the library and take all their belongings.
Cleaning and disinfection of the facilities will be carried out after each shift. Remember that in the library the safety distance of 2 meters between users must be maintained, and that the use of a mask is mandatory for as long as the patron remains in the library. Furthermore, in order to use libraries safely, patrons will not be able to use books on shelves, scanners, photocopiers, or computers.
Group work rooms will be closed until further notice.
We will continue to attend your queries through The Library Responds. We have a new chat service. From here we can answer simple questions about loans and ID, but we can also answer more complex queries about bibliographic searches, use of databases, support for research, etc.
