Since the Master's degree is mainly aimed at the research specialisation of psychologists, educators, educational psychologists, economists and sociologists, being in possession of the Licenciatura (Former Spanish undergraduate degree) or Graduate degree in the previous degrees or equivalent foreign degree is established as an admission requirement. The reasons and motivation to study the Master's degree, as well as competences and professional experience will be assessed. In particular, the admission criteria and assessment of merits will be the following:

  • Adaptation of the alleged degree for admission.
  • Academic record average in the licenciatura (Former Spanish undergraduate degree)/undergraduate degree degree.
  • Attested copy of both documents at the consulate of Spain of each country.
  • English proficiency, being able to read scientific texts. The required level according to the European parameters, will be to possess a B1 level. 
  • Letter of motivation and presentation, if any.
  • Motivations, attitudes  and interpersonal skills assessed through interview.
  • Academic and professional experience after the licenciatura (Former Spanish undergraduate degree) or degree (scientific publications, academic stays in centres of excellence, research experience, professional experience, scholarships or grants, awards, etc.).

An Academic Committee of the Master's will assess the training and professional curriculum of students in order report the validation of any subject deemed relevant, in accordance with the criteria that are commonly established in the Inter-university Coordinating Committee. The validation criteria will be mainly applied to the previous training of the postgraduate level (Master's and postgraduate or doctorate courses), as well as the professional experience. In any case, the validated credits will never exceed 30.

Since this Master's is going to be carried out in two countries of Latin America, after the established Assessment Criteria by the Curriculum Preparation Committees (CEPE) of the Degree, the body responsible for carrying out the admission of each country, Dominican Republic and Peru, will be the Office of the Vice-Principal for Research and Postgraduate, but the Academic Committee of the Master's degree responsible for carrying out the selection will be composed by:

  • The proposed member by each university or university centre of the corresponding country for the Producer Committee for the Curriculums of the Master's Study. Master's degrees RD 1393/2007.
  • One doctor from the corresponding country who gives teaching in the Master's.
