Yes, they can

 

5. How can I study the Master’s degree on a part-time basis?

This master’s is designed to be completed in a year and a half or more. In an only edition, all the training subjects will be taken from October to July in the first year and the practicum and the Master’s Degree Final Project from September to December of the following academic year. In this option, lessons will be held from Monday to Thursday every week. In two editions, it is designed so some subjects in each of the two years can be chosen and the practicum and the Master’s Degree Final Project from October to December of the following academic year. This option allows to take the lessons every other day. In the case of being on a part-time basis, the students can take a maximum of 30 credits in the first year.

 

6. Which is the timetable of the master’s degree?

It is an on-site learning master’s degree, and the timetable is from 18:00 to 21:30 Monday to Thursday.

7. What does it mean that the degree does not qualify for pursuing a regulated occupation?

 It implies that the degree does not allow to access any specific official job. The access to specific jobs is gained through the degree of origin.

 Nevertheless, the master’s degree can be taken into account to be promoted within a hierarchy or as a specialisation in Special Education for working professionals or for any student in this field. It can also be taken into account for hiring professionals in certain positions.

 

8. Are there different pre-registration phases?

 Yes, there are. Check the postgraduate website

 Notice: The Academic Coordinating Committee of the Master’s degree reserve the right of awarding the available places among the applications forms submitted until the 7 July. In this case, the pre-registration will be stopped and the list of master’s degrees without available places will be published in the website of the Postgraduate Service.

 

9. I have passed the subjects of the last year of the undergraduate degree or licenciatura (former Spanish undergraduate degree), but they do not appear yet in the transcript of records because the exam records are not completed yet. How can I make the pre-registration for the master’s degree?

 A declaration form that specifies the subject and the mark achieved can be attached to the pre-registration documents. Once you have the final transcript of records, it will replaced in the documents.

  

10. Can I study the Master’s degree on distance learning or blended learning bases?

No, you cannot. It is an ON-SITE LEARNING master’s degree. If you want, you can opt for a part-time enrolment and attend to a bit over half of lessons during a year and take the rest next year.

 

11. May I have any problem to study the master’s degree if I am working?

In this case, you need to consider seriously the possibility of doing it on a part-time basis. You could probably to attend without many problems to the on-site learning sessions, but you would not have enough time to carry out the activities (readings, reports, group works...) that you would need to do for each subject.

 

12. I have been accepted after the second pre-registration phase. When do I have to enrol?

Deadlines for Enrolment. In case you do not complete the enrolment, you will lose your place.

14. My status is “Conditionally accepted”, what should I do?

You can submit the lacking documents in your registration until the 5 September (except from 8 to 28 August). Once you do it, you will be sent an e-mail telling you the procedure and deadline for formalising the enrolment.

If you submit them before the 28 July, you can enrol earlier (check the questions “when do I have to enrol?” and “how can I get enrolled?”).

 

15. I have been accepted to the Master’s degree and I want to enrol on a part-time basis. What modules can I enrol in and which would be the timetable?
