Textos del currículum
- Experiencia Investigadora. Está integrado en la unidad de investigación de Materiales y Dispositivos Optoelectrónicos (UMDO, www.uv.es/umdo) y es responsable de la línea de investigación de materiales bidimensionales (www.uv.es/lowdim) en el Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales (ICMUV) de la Universidad de Valencia, España. Se Licenció y doctoró en Física por la Universidad de Valencia en 1992 y 1998, respectivamente. Durante su doctorado, realizó dos estancias de investigación en el Instituto Hahn-Meitner de Berlín (Alemania). Después de una estancia postdoctoral (1999-2001) en la línea de luz franco-española en el Sincrotrón LURE (Francia), comenzó una línea de investigación dedicada a la caracterización electrónica de materiales por fotoemisión (UPS y XPS) en la Universidad de Valencia que mantiene activa actualmente. En 2002, ocupó un puesto de Profesor Titular de Universidad en el Departamento de Física Aplicada de la Universidad de Valencia y en 2019 fue nombrado Catedrático de Física Aplicada. Durante este último período, también ha realizado varias estancias de investigación en el Synchrotron SOLEIL (Francia), en la Universidad de California-Berkeley (EE. UU.) Y en la Heriot-Watt University (Reino Unido). Su línea de investigación actual incluye el estudio de los materiales inteligentes para la energia las propiedades de materiales bidimensionales (semiconductores, aislantes topológicos y grafeno), caracterización electrónica y optoelectrónica de materiales de baja dimensión y la preparación y caracterización de dispositivos optoelectrónicos basados en materiales bidimensionales.
