- Resumen del CV. Llicenciat en Ciències Físiques, especialitat d´Electricitat, Electrònica i Informàtica per la Universitat de València. Doctorat en Ciències Físiques al juliol de 1993. Actualment sóc Professor Titular d'Arquitectura i Tecnologia dels Computadors al Departament d'Informàtica de l'Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeries (ETSE-UV). Des de la seva creació el 2012 fins avui, sóc director del Màster en Bioinformàtica de la UV. He impartit classes en 3 assignatures d'aquest màster. He estat el director de 45 treballs final de màster (TFM), dels quals 2 han obtingut el premi extraordinari al millor TFM del curs. He participat en projectes de recerca de temàtiques diferents: visió artificial, robòtica, tractament d'imatges, oftalmologia, òptica i xarxes de computadors. Actualment la meva línia de recerca principal és la Bioinformàtica. He fet programes per a l'anàlisi de dades de NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) i de Xarxes d'Interaccions Proteiques. He col·laborat en el desenvolupament d'aplicacions web per a l'anàlisi i la visualització de dades bioinformàtiques. Tinc 4 publicacions a Bioinformatics i 4 a BMC Bioinformátics. Des de la seva creació al març del 2016, sóc membre de l'Institut de Biologia Integrativa de Sistemes (I2SysBio, UV-CSIC). Pertanyo al grup de recerca Teoria, Bioinformàtica i Computació (https://www.uv.es/tbc), on realitzo estudis de metagenòmica aplicats a sistemes extremòfils, mostres ambientals i també al microbioma humà. Desenvolupament algorismes per a l'anàlisi de grans volums de dades bioinformàtiques..
