Ignasi Nebot Gil, born in 1952, studied Chemistry at the Universitat de València (1969-74). He earned his doctoral degree in theoretical studies of reaction mechanisms from this university in 1979. He carried out a postdoctoral stay at the Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse together with professor Malrieu on theoretical photochemical processes (1980-81). Nebot was pre-tenured professor at the university in 1982 and full university professor of Physical Chemistry since 1986. He works on theoretical studies of reaction mechanisms of interest in atmospheric chemistry, development of methods for calculating the correlation of high precision electronics and studies on the structure of complexes between elements of groups III and V of the periodic table.
