José María Peiró Silla

Jos� Mar�a Peir�Born in Torrent in 1950, José María Peiró is graduate in Philosophy and Arts from the Universitat de València, doctor in Philosophy and Arts from this university and graduate in Psicology from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is Full-University Professor in Social Psichology and of Organisations of the Universitat de València, President-Elect of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), director of the Institut d’Investigació en Psicologia dels Recursos Humans, del Desenvolupament Organitzacional i de la Qualitat de Vida Laboral (IDOCAL), and director of the Professional Placement and Careers Advice Monitoring Centre (OPAL) of this university. Director of the Psychology of Organisations and Work Research Unit (OUIPOT), is a lead researcher of the Psychology of Organisations and Work Research Programme: work and quality of working life units. Peiró is professor researcher of the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE). He is coordinator of the European Master of Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology included in the Erasmus Mundus Programme. Finally, he is also President of the Division 1: Organizational Psychology of the International Association of Applied Psychology.
