Marc Baldó Lacomba

Marc BaMarc Bald� Lacombaldó Lacomba is professor of Contemporary History in the Universitat de València, where has been department director and dean. He has studied historic methodology and history of the university, a large part of his work is about the spanish and american liberal universities and about the social change in the student populations. It should be noted books like “Profesores y estudiantes en la época romántica” (Lecturers and students in the romantic era) or “La revolución industrial” (Industrial revolution).

He has also studied the exile of professors under the Francisco Franco regime, researches reflected in works like “Estudiantes contra Franco” (Students against Franco), in which he is coautor. He gives classes as lecturer in the Faculty of Geography and History and in the Contemporary History master with subjects like “Introduction to History of Valencia”, or “Political cultures of francoism. Intelectuals, university and social change.”
