Vicente Claramonte Sanz

Vicente ClaramonteVicente Manuel Claramonte Sanz graduated in Law (1991) and Philosophy (2003). Between 2005 and 2007 he achieved the status of training pre-doctoral research staff with the programme of the University Teacher Staff Training of the Ministry of Education and Science and, among 2007 and 2009, the status of researcher recruited by Universitat de València.

He has carried out stays in several foreign research centres, such as the Instituto Suor Orsola Benincasa, in Naples, or the Università degli Studi di Padova, by which his research task was published by Editoriale Scientifica in the book Storia dei concentti. Storia del pensiero politico (2006). He got the European Doctor qualification in Philosophy from Universitat de València (2010), with a doctoral thesis focused on certain epistemological, historical, sociological and legal matters implied in the hypothesis of intelligent design.

Since 2005 he collaborates in teaching and research tasks with the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at Universitat de València, developing specially his task in determined fields of knowledge concerned by Philosophy of Biology.

He has published several articles about such matters in scientific magazines such as Teorema, Endoxa or Teoría y Derecho, and has given several conferences cycles relative to his doctoral research throughout Latin America. He is also author of the book La cienfitifidad del diseño inteligente, published in 2009 by the publishing house Tirant lo Blanch.
